Museums

A few minutes walk from the hotel you can find the National Art Gallery and the National Archaeological Institute with its museum.

Both places offer you an exciting journey over time. The gallery is located in the former royal palace and besides the interesting temporary expositions, its permanent exhibition - painting and sculpture - includes pictures of the most remarkable Bulgarian artists.

The museum at the National Archaeological Institute has a permanent exhibition with artefacts from the Palaeolithic age until the end of the Middle Ages. Make sure to check the temporary exhibitions at the moment.
